A : Updated 2008 : Bangladesh application has cease on 31st November 2007 till further notice
Q : Do I need foreign workers ?
A : Depending on the sector that are allowed and your company human resources recruitment plans. Normally standard contract duration of workers are 2 year + 1 year contract.

Q : How long is the duration period should I wait for the arrival of the workers ?
A : Depending on the duration taken on preparation time to submission time of approval,submission of calling visa and arrival, the fastest possible time is one month and the appropriately 2 months period expected
Q : How much salary/wages should I pay the foreign workers ?
A : On international manpower market’s demand and supply and in the Malaysia market , a minimum of RM 750.00 to 900.00 is advisable to attract general workers, however different sectors have different minimum salary expected.
Q : What are the responsibility as an employers toward the foreign workers ?
A : Proper lodging and accommodation with basic nessity , transport ,welfare. and others stipulated in the contract employment and in compliance with the Malaysian labour law.

Q : What are the Costs to be considered before applying for foreign workers ?
A : Cost of lodging, transportation cost to worksite, insurance ,workers welfare , medical, immigration yearly cost such as PLKS stickers, and passage back to source country after completion of contracts.
Q : What should I do if my workers are medically unfit ?
A : Purchase a one way ticket and obtain a check out memo for the workers , for medically unfit worker , replacement of quota is re
deemable once the workers deploy back.
Q : What if my workers absconded? Will I get replacement ?
A : It depends on the terms negotiated with the consultants/agents . Bold Excel Services has a 3 month warranty period upon arrival. A reimbursement of levy will be paid back to the employers.
Q : My company requires female production operator, where do I get my source ?
A : Currently female foreign workers are hard to source and numbers are low . However with deduction from initial salary is encouraged, as initial cost of recruitment are absorbed by the agents in order to attract the workers. Deducted salary are then paid back to the consultant/agents.
